Applications are invited in the prescribed form to fill up the following posts of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in the University.
Application form, instructions to candidates, the details on number of posts (disciplinewise), communal reservation, scale of pay and qualification as per Service Rules of the University can be downloaded from the TNFU website (www.tnfu.org.in) on 01.03.2014. The duly filled-in application should reach the Registrar, Tamil Nadu Fisheries University, Nagapattinam – 611001 on or before 5.00 pm on 31.03.2014 along with the Registration Fee of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) / Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two hundred and fifty only) in the case of SC/ST candidates by crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Finance Officer, Tamil Nadu Fisheries University, Nagapattinam” at any Nationalized Bank payable at Nagapattinam. The Demand Draft should be dated not earlier than 01.03.2014. The candidates should specify in their application form “Application for the post of Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor”.
The candidates who are willing to serve in the University for not less than a minimum period of three years alone shall apply. The candidates selected for the above posts by this University should execute a bond to serve the University for a minimum period of three years. Failing which he / she should pay a sum of Rs. 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty thousand only). The bond should be executed before joining duty.
Cut-off date for all qualification is 31.12.2013. Proof (Photo copies) should be enclosed with the application. Certificates issued after the cut-off date will not be considered.
